Discovery Green

Today we went to Discovery Green for the first time and the weather was PERFECT for it! I mean I know it's January, but this IS Houston and weather is never consistent. So today with it being a high of low 80's with barely any clouds in the sky... oh man it was great! The wind was blowing but it wasn't cold wind.... just wind and Toni LOVED it! That's this picture right here.

This pic was the end of "airplane" where Junior holds her face down and swings her like she's flying like an airplane. I took a series of continuous shots all of which she had these huge grins but the end shot is the best because you can see all of her face.

This shot I took of Junior playing with Toni. No this wasn't staged. He really was playing with her like that and again I took a series of continuous shots and this was one of the good ones.

This shot I just like. We were sitting by the area where the water shoots out from the ground and all the kids were playing in it. It was tempting to let Toni play in it, but with her still with a bit of a cough, wind blowing and no towel we thought, better not. But we did run into this one lady with her 10 month old daughter (Juliet) who was sooo cute. I was tempted to take a picture but thought the mom may not appreciate it... even though we talked for a bit and Toni played with Juliet. Anyway, in terms of height Juliet was not much taller than Toni. Maybe not even a whole inch. But she could walk! So she was playing in the water. She was so cute! I'm definitely taking Toni back when she can walk.
And this picture was just another shot of her smiling she enjoyed today so much! But with this picture, you can see her tooth!!!! You can't see the other one right next to it as it's barely breaking surface right now but that first one I discovered a few days ago is really visible!
