So amidst all the craziness with her HFMD illness and the lack of eating and vomiting (today), she learned to clap all on her own. We always clap her hands for her or clap our hands to show her and she's attempted... but never quite got the palms to clap. Well today was a tough day for her and me. Tough for her b/c I think the blisters in her mouth are starting to affect her more than yesterday. She hasn't eaten much and threw up twice! So that's rough for me because I'm worried about dehydration, starvation and don't want her ending up having to go to the hospital to get an IV. But amidst all that, I was holding her (she needed some comforting) and out of no where, she just starts clapping her hands! And with my nifty, handy flip video I was able to catch for all to see!
At least something good came of this day.I'm wore out.
