Buttinair

As in butt-in-air. So Toni's crawling but she still hasn't reached that speed everyone talks about. Better than when she started, but still a bit slow... for now. We'll see how that long that lasts. But she loves pulling herself up to a standing position while holding onto something. So what is buttinair? That's my new term one of Toni's positions; one I happen to remember liking as a child.

It's getting harder to put her to sleep. Compared to most, still pretty easy, but compared to her regular ways... harder. And I think it's because she's becoming more mobile, she's so fidgety and restless. So when I lay down with her in the bed to help her fall asleep, she tosses and turns and flips and sticks her butt in the air and sometimes stays like that and falls asleep. So that's buttinair.

Yesterday was my friend Jamuna's birthday. So we went to her house just for some cake cutting and usually when we go there, Toni (loving kids so much) is always so fascinated with Sachin. She'll watch his every move and always reach out for him. He usually gives her this look like she's crazy or tries to get away from her. Well last nbight was different I wish I would have caught it all on camera. But I did get some of it. So Toni was sitting on the floor on the rug. Sachin was playing with the rug and for whatever reason it made Toni laugh and laugh and laugh... I mean she was laughing so hard and loud that everyone was watching her. And Sachin was getting a kick out of it. I think her laughing egged him on so he kept doing whatever it was he was doing over and over again.

I didn't get the camera in time to catch it though. I did, however, manage to catch Sachin give Toni hugs and a kiss. It was sooooo cute!
