OK, so they knew I was 5 weeks postpartum at the drs office. Anyway, I've been given the green light to go back to normal. So I hit the gym yesterday but I will still be taking that slow at first. Mainly because I've been out of it for so long! But the doc said everything has healed nicely and my uterus is back to it's small size.
Toni is developing well! She is much more social lately. She'll actually look at you and open her mouth like she is trying to communicate with you. Every now and then a small coo sound will come out. it's so cool! And she cracks these smiles... SOOO cute! But I'm still unsure if she is purposely smiling at us or if it's just one of those smiles that just happen. Supposedly between 6 wks and 6 mos she will start to sleep longer thoughout the night. Big range, but I'm hoping for 6 weeks! haha! Really, I just want her to be more regualar with a schedule. Right now she's not always consistent. It's not so bad right now, but only because I take 1 or 2 naps a day with her so that getting up or going to bed in the wee hours of the morning aren't so bad. So that helps a lot! But, I have noticed that when we are out during "nap time" I get so tired! haha! Here I am, 29 years old and I get tired if I don't have my naps.
