Toni is walking!!! She's been on her way there. One day it was two steps. Few days later it was four steps.. then six... and now I can't count! She still prefers to crawl as I think it's more efficient and faster for her but she can walk and with much more confidence now! Now, we don't even have to prompt her to walk. She'll just do it on her own. Yesterday seemed to be the breaking point. Usually when she starts to take any steps, she'll do it slowly and with caution. Yesterday it almost seemed as if she just threw that out the window and decided, what the hell let me just go for it. And she would just let go of me and go with it like she knew she wouldn't fall. And sometimes she didn't and sometimes she did. I'm so proud of her!!! Today I was deflating the guest bed (My 2nd cousin from Ottawa came to visit)
and was on one end of the bed (queen size). Toni was standing by the TV which was maybe around the middle of the bed. Without question, I look up and she is just walking towards me without holding on to anything AND she made it all the way without falling!!!!! My little princess! She's growing so fast. I have video of her taking her 5-6 steps that I'll have to upload later. The pictures are from today. She got her first pair of shades. What a little diva! haha!
